Hickling and Squires are a privately own Company and have been established for over 50 years.

The company was founded in 1953 by Frank Hickling and Frank Squires and was run successfully as a business in Nottingham by the pair until the then very successful Oxley Printing Group who appointed Mike Wells as Managing Director bought them out in the early 1960's. It was boom time in Nottingham at that stage and the company continued to grow through relationships with Nottingham based companies such as Imperial Tobacco.

In 1981 the company was purchased and taken over by Mike Well who began an investment programme that saw the business outgrow its existing premises and move to a new factory in Radford, Nottingham.

In the 1990's Mike son Richard joined the company and along with Sales Director Paul White and another large investment programme began as the company looked to bring in the latest technology and push the company to the forefront of the B2 printing market in the East Midlands.

Once again Hickling and Squires outgrew its premises and in January 2002 the company moved to its existing premises and as can be seen from our plant list we can boast a wide range of some of the latest technology in the print trade.
